Well except for the whole Lavender Town "Cubone's really a baby Kangaskhan that lost it's mama" thing. Now that is a complex yet powerful symbol for it says "hey, if you overcome great tragedy with spiritual conditioning, you'll become a well rounded and unstoppable force." Despite Lavender Town's depressingness, Cubone's--what I'd call side evolution, matches my last sentence. Some think Marowak is a middle form, but that's too significant a reason for evolution (using the skull)...In other words, not every Cubone is motherless >__>
