THE SUN: The life giver of the solar system! The sun is a bubbly, warm, generous star, willing to burn out his energy for the well being of the planets. Unfortunately the sun is also a burning ball of nuclear fire, so no one can ever give him as much gratitude as he deserves.

MERCURY: Mercury has the closest relationship with The Sun of any planet. But while the sun only means warmth and life, Mercury has the sour end of the deal. He is covered in scars and craters from objects caught up in the Sun’s gravity, and his atmosphere has been stripped away by the intense love. Mercury envies Mars, living next to Earth and Jupiter instead of the Sun and crazy Venus.

VENUS: Venus may have been much like Earth at one time, but a runaway greenhouse effect caused her to transform into a monster, with an acid atmosphere and molten surface. Venus is a tad insane too, perhaps from a massive collision in her younger days that caused her to rotate backwards. Venus’ past is much a mystery, but we do know she’s one deadly planet today.

EARTH: If you’re reading this, there’s a 99.9% chance you’re on Earth right now! Earth is the only planet in the solar system to support complex life, and he knows he’s pretty special. In fact, maybe he thinks he’s a bit too special sometimes. Although Earth is aware of how pretty darn cool he is, he doesn’t always take the best care of himself. Earth is also a bit nosy, and is always spying on the other planets.

MARS: Mars is a modest fellow. He doesn’t think he’s that super especially compared to his neighbors Jupiter and Earth. What he does have is the biggest volcano in the solar system, Olympus Mons (He didn’t even feel it needed a name, Earth named it for him). But still, Mars doesn’t like to flaunt his features. A quick glance shows him to be a cold, red wasteland. But his best pal Earth can recognize Mars for what he’s worth.

JUPITER: Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system. But he’s happy with his mass, and sees himself as a big brother to the terrestrial planets. If an asteroid falls plummets toward the inner planets, its Jupiter to the rescue, pulling it back out! He has a Great Red Spot, also known as the longest lasting and biggest rash in history. Jupiter has always been secretly jealous of Saturn’s fabulous rings, though.

SATURN: Saturn is the second biggest planet, and has developed large, beautiful rings to compensate. He is secretly jealous of Jupiter’s size and colors, and he acts like a jerk to cover up those insecurities. Saturn is actually very smart; he’s the least dense planet in the solar system. He won’t stop bothering Uranus about his name, even though he doesn’t know what an anus is. Earth said it was funny so everyone went with it.

URANUS: Uranus is cold and bitter from constant harassment about his silly name. Having an unusual axis doesn’t help either, it gets awkward sometimes. The only other planets he comes in contact with are Saturn (who is a jerk) and Neptune (who is starved for attention). There’s not much else to say about Uranus.

NEPTUNE: Neptune is the outer most planets, and is neglected from the sun’s warm rays. He desperately tries to get the inner planet’s attention, doing drastic things like raining diamonds. Neptune is sometimes convinced that Pluto is a figment of his imagination.

NOT SHOWN: Pluto, who is such a little weirdo he's probably off in the Kuiper belt by now.
