As requested by JEVVEL (nah, requests aren't open, I just agreed that a tabby tutorial would be a good idea)
S'more examples of what you can do with tabbies: (<-- Actually, on this one, Dancingfire is breaking my "white covers all" rule. My excuse is that that was before I did this tut., and also uh i had another reason but atm i cannot recall it just wait i'll remember)

I've always been really bad with tabby stripes, I've just never really known where to place the stripes (especially on the faces) or how to curve them/how long the stripes should be
but this explains it and shows it so well!!
