while i was at Target yesterday I saw the Despicable Me setup in the front of the store and randomly drew the top picture which then sparked a pointless but adorable idea [ well, i think its cute anyways ] I thought about how many times Gru had just looked so pitiful in the film, I wanted to jump into that screen and hug him tight ;3; unlike some other fangirls I've noticed around DA who say he's 'sexy', I see him as being like a child himself, I find him 'adorable'. In the simple hugs/kisses/hold hands kind of way, ya know? Innocent. I think it's what drew me to his character, no matter how 'bad' he tried to be there was still that innocence there.ahhh, me and my rambling XD;;;;;

For one thing, this is an adorable concept. For another thing, your chibi Gru looks just so cute; not to mention your little you is always so .. bloody... I know, I'm using multiple synonyms for "chibi". But I love their expressions; you do such fantastic little sketch pieces. Just.. unf. Lovely.

Awww 8D This is really cute. I don't find him like a child, but I do find him adorable. He's not sexy, but he's beautiful. Gorgeous, even. (Yes, I do really think he's gorgeous. I don't know whether I love him because he's beautiful, or he's beautiful because I love him...) He is very innocent, for sure, and that's one of the reasons I love him too. <3 He... I don't know... there's something about him that's very pure, and he brings out a pure kind of love for him in me. (Not entirely pure of course, I do love him in that way too, but it ties into how much I adore him.) /completely besotted xD

when I say 'like a child' I mean that there's still that inner child that was never embraced during his childhood. throughout the film i comes out when he begins to spend more time around the girls. He still had a maturity, but the innocent childishness still remains, yea? X3

He's one of those exceptions for me when it comes to characters I like. Usually the characters that grab my interest are dark, pure evil, sadistic. But then there's Gru, the complete opposite. I guess because, while there's that little bit of evil in me that is attracted to evil, there's also the part of me that reaches out for an innocent character and I found that in Gru

I have very little hope for people, mostly men. Every guy I've ever even slightly liked has shown to have a side to them that just doesn't feel right, that feels like I can't trust. I think it's why I find so much hope in fictional characters. Gah I sound pathetic >//< but at least with these characters they can't break your heart...
