Trait/Rarity GuideSTARRIEARS ARE BASICALLY MAGICAL SPACE BUNS.
They're bottom-heavy, with thick thighs and fluffy butts and a very short nub of a tail. They have semi-transparent ears that are long enough to hide their faces behind, the ends of which are hollow organs that store magic energy and feel light as air. These organs are soft and pliant, and can serve as pillows for the Starriear to sleep on. Usually they have a four- or five-pointed star shape to their ears, hence their name, but a handful of other shapes exist, too. Lastly, they have dexterous hands, with four fingers and one thumb on each. Their palms shimmer from microcrystals slightly beneath their skin, which they use to amplify spells.

Species RulesSTARRIERS ARE A SEMI-OPEN SPECIES.
That means you can make your own with the Common and Uncommon traits on the official Trait Guide! However, if you want your Starriear to be official, please submit them either to this group or send a note to Galaxbii with the details. It is heavily encouraged that you do so as we would really like to keep track of all the Starriears~!

Starriear designs are for personal use only! This includes but is not limited to: Non-commercial/profit art, comics, stories/roleplays, etc. You may not use Starriears as a marketable product i.e. items in a store, commercial or personal, with Starriear designs on them, etc.

You do not have to follow Starriear lore. You do not have to use the official bases either! Feel free to make your own~ However, any non-personal user-made bases cannot be marketed. They must be free-to-use.

You must follow the Trait Rarity rules. Do not switch your Starriear's Common/Uncommon traits to Rare or higher traits Trade/Resell RulesSTARRIEARS MAY BE RESOLD/RETRADED/REGIFTED AT YOUR LEISURE.
However, they cannot be resold for more than their original price (plus any edits paid seperate from the original price) UNLESS they are accompanied with extras like extra art.

Starriears given as Sales may be resold, traded, or gifted.

Starriears given as Trades may only be traded. No reselling. Gifting is allowed, but from there they become Starriear Gifts.

Starriears given as Gifts MUST be only regifted. No trading or selling.

YOU MAY NOT make personal profit off of Starriears outside of communities like Toyhou.se or Deviantart.
