So...different...XD I've definitely seen this happen with my characters. For example, I have a character who is an anti-heroic/villainous sociopath, who used to be a 100% heroic pyromaniac. It's wonderful seeing how characters transform over time.

I actually totaly get it. When I orrigionaly designed my charcter he was a happy-go-lucky nerd with this weird ne eye head piece thing and his costume was just horrible. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, now that I've grown up a bit he's been turned into a solmn, emotionaly troubled orphan that's emotionaly unstable and often on the verge of shooting someones head off.
Ahh, that moment when you look at you're characters and storys from years ago and your brain just explodes...

He was, at first, just a made-on-the-spot OC kind of deal that wasn't really developed. At all.
