Did a little animated head bob thingy~ But I have no idea how to resize gifs to use it as a preview image xD So yeah!I'm a little late to the Mystery Skulls fandom. But I love it~

Ahh this is cute! and very well done!
I'm a little stupid when it comes to cropping in sai, but I know these two things for a fact:
You can crop by selection by selecting an area then going to:
Canvas>Crop By Selection
OR
you can REDUCE your entire image by going to
Canvas> Change Resolution
Which you will only really use to change dpi; so if you have it at 300 use that to reduce to 72 or something
Canvas>Change Size
allows you to ADD to your canvas or SUBTRACT
To ADD simply go to EXTEND CANVAS and play around!
To SUBTRACT use the Width and Height tab
For example: If your image is 5x3 and you need it to be 3x3, change the 5 to 3 and sai will crop out the with. Same thing works for height, and you can do em both at the same time!
The neat thing about sai is when it crops, it doesn't delete the rest of your piece, so you can adjust your layer positions. Β It will just leave out the rest when you save! Β Play around with it!

I do have the resizing down for flat images X3 (I mess around with it a lot because my icon sketches start out as 100x100 so that I actually have room to draw something resembling a creature) unfortunately SAI doesn't open gif images and I am entirely too lazy to go through and resize every image multiple times until I get it right, and then go back and animate it all again every time.
I'm sure there are easier ways but I am such a noob.
