Honestly, this started out as a practice sketch of fiona and Marshall on a date. Once I realized it was one of the best fionas and Marshalls I have ever drawn on paper, I realized it needed a background. So I turned on the TV and was watching adventure time soley for the purpose of finding a good background. When I saw this one I paused the TV and took a really rough pencil sketch of the whole thing. Then I decided it looked pretty nifty, so I outlined it in pen and scanned it. I colored this with gimp, because it would look SOOOO much better then pencil. Ta-da! Afternoon date scene! But only a true fan girl could spot the inaccuracy.Can you? Answer at the bottom of description. This picture is dedicated to the many adventure time groups I join, but then neglected for months. Sorry guys! Does this make up for my absence? Total work time: about four hours. Hope y'all like!

answer: Marshall is a vampire and he is out in broad daylight. I didn't want to change the entire color scheme of the scene for that one detail, which is why I said "screw it" and put the clouds over the sun. Good enough, right?
