Description
This is first blanks for my animals figurines. This is without parts (ears, tails, manes, horns, wings, thin legs, etc.) By Christmas 2015 should be well prepared. From these figurines it will be possible to make Christmas ornaments.Some blanks (for example, dog, hyena or a bear) look as if they can paint and decorate. Would you buy this blank for your creativity?

I love the blanks. I would buy them and leave them just as they are.

I think these would be cute with all the parts, just no detail. Kind of like a silhouette figurine. They're stunning with the details, though

Sorry if this has already been answered. I scrolled through some of the comments but didn't see it.
What exactly are these and what do you use them for?

Hontor makes figurines, and in order to make them he produces batches these blanks before adding all the detail to them.

I see! (I think lol)
So these blanks are the product of mass production, or they will be used as molds to make mass production?
Hope I made that make sense.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure though.
They would be so neat to use as board game pieces!
Thanks for replying to me :3

Huh. Yeah, that'd be pretty awesome. Try leaving a suggestion for Hontor about that - chess pieces or such.
And no problem.

These behind-the-scenes photos of how you make your sculptures are quite interesting.

I think this is a neat idea actually.Β When people want to do something, a lot of times the hardest part is finding a starting place to work from.Β To me, this is like a few sketchy lines on a piece of paper that would give someone a more confident starting place.Β

I would buy any of them as blanks. But I particularly have a soft spot for the raven and the cat ;w;

I would if I had access to velvet clay. It is impossible to buy it or have it shipped in to the USA. Can you sell velvet clay? Haha. I will buy it from you.

Yes, tomorrow I get a lot of velvet clay, and set it up for sale. It will be in packages of 50 grams, 6 base colors (white, black, red, blue, yellow, green). The estimated price is $ 6 per package (white and black) and $ 5 (other colors). This material is very lightweight, so 50 grams - a large piece. This will be the normal price for you?

That is about the size of clay in the USA. Ours are much cheaper though. $2.00 to $3.00 per 50 to 57grams. Your price is expensive compared to ours. But also, we cannot buy velvet clay. So the person who REALLY wants it will probably pay your price. There is also shipping to think of which makes the price even more.Β
I still think it will sell to people who really really want it. I want to try, but may only buy 1 package because of the price and shipping. Hope this helps. Β

I do not know where you found such prices. The closest analogue, Clay Craft by Deco, 55 grams, sold anywhere from $ 9. Polymer clay comparable volume are $ 20-30 per pack.

Here in the US Polymer clay is $2-$3 at stores like Joanns, Michaels, and Dick Blick.

You forget that Fimo very heavy material. 50g Fimo - is a tiny piece. If you compare the volume, in one package velvet clay fit 3-4 Fimo package. 9 $.

I would buy a blank and keep it that way, becaue I think they are beautiful just as they are. Especially the dog, cat, hyena, bear, deer, rabbit and ferret. I like that they are blank but have ears.

I would consider buying one of these but I lack the skills required to make it look good ;-;
These are amazing though.
I envy your talent
