Hard to believe you made something so intricate out of the cheapest clays on the market! Do you ever use Super Sculpey, Fimo, or Kato polymer clays?

What do you do after you finish making the body? Do you put a seal over it or do you just let it dry?

This is about the level I'm at already... Maybe someday I'll be a professional but I shouldn't keep my hopes too high

Wow, I didn't know that this stuff is usable for professional purposes. I have a cup of that stuff (if it's what I think it is). Just thrown bust made out of it against a wall and it bounced intact. Crazy stuff.

You must have an incredible amount of patience. Your work is outstanding. Does the clay just harden in the air?

That's cool. I love to sculpt. I've made lots of stuff, like a dragon (not as good as yours) and a carousel and many animals. Anyway, this inspires me and I hope I'll be as good as you one day

Три вопроса:
1) это требует термической обработки?
2) чтобы покрасить нужны какие-то специальные краски или простые как, скажем, та же гуашь подойдут?
3) ты используешь какие-нибудь инструменты или всё вручную делается?

Do you put paint on your clay? I have been wanting to get into sculpting but I am not sure if putting paint on the clay works out alright.

I'm not sure what hontor does, but you can paint air dry clay (which I think this person has used here) and polymer clay (you bake it). Whether or not the paint holds up on its own depends on the quality of paint. Many artists choose to seal the painted piece with varnish (matte, satin, or glossy if you desire). Air dry clay will need to be sealed in any case, due to the nature of it. You don't want it to get wet and turn to mush. You can also add paints and other pigments to the air drying clay before sculpting.

That we have such a feature)
There is a "rastaman Tales", where there is a green mouse with red eyes. In Russia, the relatively well-known and recognizable character.

For the larger pieces do you have to make a wire armature or is this clay pretty solid?
