He looks like a freaking mix between Mephiles (if that's how you spell it), Shadow, Metal Sonic, and a non-specific member of the Deadly Six.

You know, despite how badass the new villain looks, I still can't get over the fact of seeing Shadow on the villains's side; after being an anti-hero with amnesia for so long; and seeing Chaos in his 0 form(not Perfect Chaos.); which we have not seen since Sonic Adventure!
