This pinup is currently being displayed as a 20x16 canvas in Gam3rcon's art gallery in San Diego, California!
A buddy of mine invited me to put up an art piece at Gam3rcon 2015's art gallery and she said that this year's theme was RETRO gaming, so I went on to create this piece.
And it's ABOUT TIME I draw a pinup featuring a princess from the Mushroom Kingdom riding a Bonzai Bill!
I've had this idea for years and I just never got to it because I just never started it... until NOW!
This piece was a bit stressful for me since I actually did this piece all in one day... I worked on this piece non-stop mainly because I came back from vacation and had only a week to finish it. Due to my work schedule, I did not start until 4 days before the deadline. I needed to finish it ASAP since I needed 2 days for the canvas to print out.
Despite this pinup being a serious rush-job, I'm actualy VERY HAPPY with it. I enjoyed the idea so much that the stress didn't really get to me. However... it sort of did take a toll on my hand, so I've been taking a break from crazy drawing!
