This comic was actually made in 2012. You can tell because the style looks so strange compared to the recent comics. Decided to upload it because this topic always made me think of my friends hehe!Just Timbo and Steve playing some Street Fighter. Timbo asks Steve whether Ryu or Ken is better, but Steve doesn't like how Timbo says RYU.
OK... So how many of you said Ryu's name as "Rye-Yoo"? Don't lie! We're all guilty of mispronouncing it!
Honestly I think that it's kinda part of our culture that we call him by the wrong name. I know some folks that keep saying the name wrong even though they know the right way (which that's me lol). My Japan crazy friend must keep correcting us every time! lol

Let's be honest, everyone calls him Rye-Yoo and only the 'cool kids' called him Ree-Yoo AFTER they learned the correct pronunciation.

In France, we say "Ree-Yoo", but the "R" is pronounced like in French (there is no equivalent in English, but remember English with a French accent
