Description
When I was coming up with ideas to do my first Dragon Girl, Burnt Cake , I thought of doing an Eastern Dragon as well as seen in the 2019 rough concept. I tried making her not look like my snake girls by giving her thicker eyebrows, swirls, and a less angular tail. I kinda based her face & hair off of Master Pai Mei lol.

I first envisioned the pic to take place at night celebrating the Lunar Festival, but I ended up putting it in daytime since it just looked better in general. This piece is pretty much the most warm colored Monster Girl pic since I tend to use lots of purples/blues/greens.

In the end, I really adore Zhū (especially her eyebrows & cheeks) and she's another personal favorite!
