Splatoon is out tomorrow and I just finished a simple picture of an Inkling DUDE!I thought I'd draw the dude simply because I see the Inkling girl EVERYWHERE! Might as well give him some love too! lol
I'm not entirely happy with this piece simply because the process was a pain. This could have been done quickly and easily, but I was constantly being interrupted by my mom to go do errands to the point where I just burnt out on the piece and continuing with it felt like a drag. I really felt like I could have done more... :/
Other than that, hope you guys enjoy!

I'll be picking up the game when it's out (hopefully I have time to play)! I might also do some more Splatoon doodles and draw the Inklikng girl some time too!

Bro this is a kick ass piece! I already see it in a finished print, the main characters are powerful, the colors and the postures are dynamic. Its undesrtandable now that you let us know that it was an interrupted piece and that is whats probably pinching that unsatisfied nerve, but remember its always ok to go back when the magic comes back to you to add some more if you feel unsatisfied. To me it looks awesome and love the expression of the main character, this is ready for a print. Β

and I always end up working 10 to 15 minutes on my stuff every time, but I try to enjoy those minutes and make the best of that little period of magic and comeback to work on it the next day, even if it takes forever to finish a piece at the end I am satisfied.Β Β

It's pretty damn fun if you ask me. It's also full of style and ATTITUDE. Seriously I get a 90's vibe from it haha!
Shooters aren't really my thing, but I always like it when game developers put a twist into the genre rather than your typical military shooter.
