second illustrations/ Graphic novel cover done for JUN project.the background space on left meant for wrap around cover.
this image is cropped for this presentation ^^
the center piece of this painting is most certainly Kingo, the thief boy holding up a holy calligraphy (부적, 符籍, a talisman or an amulet) to repel the creeping demon ninja. facial expression captured on the boy is what makes me enjoy what i do.

wonderful controu and anatomy but the composition is a little off. YOu have so much attention going on the right side of the picture I almost want to see a few more ninjas to the left maybe coming out of the tree? I'm not sure it's just hard for me to appreciate the stairs and tree when my attention is being drawn away from it so much.

lol his expression is priceless it's more of a "holy sh*t, wtf is that thing" instead of pure fear, but there pretty similar looking

Believe me, I'm not just studying this to look for flaws, these are really obvious..i just wanted to let you know that the woman has a man's build with boobs, her left humerus is too long (bone between shoulder and elbow), the right shoulder is too high, the breasts look like implants 'cuz they're not being moved when she's stretching her arm up that high, the face is manly, and the femurs are so far apart that they could not be connected to a pelvis. And all the attention is being drawn to the lit and most dominant character in the picture which is good but not when the base drawing wasn't solid. Again, I'm just trying to give helpful feedback instead of "awesome", "wow", "omg", and "i want to have your child."

The overal composition is great ... colors creat such an spooky, eery feel to it.
What stunns me most - in spite of body postures and the light - is the torn fabric on her right arm.

Wow. That is really powerful. I love the kid too; fantastic job representing him. A lot of fantasy/realism style artists do so many muscle bound, breast toting grown ups, that their children always look lame. You didn't do that. Again, great job.
