This is really cool! I'd suggest making it Dark/Flying though, rather than Normal/Dark.

Well, it actually lost its ability to fly through evolution. Its wings are now too small and arm-like to be able to carry its own weight. Thanks though.

I know, but there's a reason why Birdoct became a Normal/Dark type rather than part Flying-type. Birdoct is meant to be less of a bird than the other two evolutions. It's meant to be more like somebody dressed up in a plague doctor outfit; the ones with the beak-like masks, rather than an actual bird. Just because you're dressed as a bird doesn't mean you can fly like a bird lol. I wanted the third evolution option to be different than the other two options. So all in all, I got rid of the Flying-type part in order to show that it isn't really that much of a bird anymore, but instead, somebody only wearing a bird-like attire.
