A second take on the droids. Changed some colors to experiment and this time I let the render finish...took almost 2 hours to reach 74%, then for some reason when I checked ten mins later it was finished. I think some of the noise from the first one can be attributed to the paint shaders having a sparkly quality to them, since the metal shaders lack the effect. I didn't use any HDRI so there wasn't anything to reflect on the other site of the camera, might try playing around with setting a wall there some other time. I'll probably try giving the whole trio the iron man color scheme next time, just for funsies.
