Description
Not new art, but a splash of color to something old! I've been in a big Sonic mood lately, so I wanted to upload a Sonic picture, and rather than draw a new one, wasting paper, erasers and pencils, I decided to color one of the old Sonic pictures I had lying around. I understand that there are kids in some parts of the world that would be grateful to have my old neglected Sonic sketch, so I figured I'd better not take it for granted. Plus I really wanted to use the word "redux" in the title.

Anyway, this is Lazy Sonic. If you haven't noticed, Sonic only has two gears. "Tear Ass" and "Slothfully Loiter". He's never walking around, reading the paper, or buying lumber or eating breakfast. He's either running loops at 600 miles per hour, or he's asleep on his face. He's not picky, either. He'll just plop down in a crappy folding chair, with some knock-off Ray-Bans, listening to Jimmy Buffet his treble-tastic radio. (I can only assume Sonic's favorite musician would be Jimmy Buffet. It just sort of fits. Maybe AC/DC too.)

Couple of tidbits for trivia buffs. The lineart was "inked" over in MSpaint off the original scan. The lawnchair thatching was "borrowed" from a picture of an actual lawnchair, as was the lime texture. The background was also an actual beach picture that I used some filters on. SO SUE ME!! Additionally, I drew that little wooden table and chili dog in MSpaint, cause I didn't like the one I had in the original picture.
