My roommate has a fake gun that we used to take lots of silly pictures last night. In between I took some pics I thought would look cool poster style.
I don't like guns, but I think they look very stylish and cool in well done films and pics. So I guess I do, in a different way... whatever.
Was feeling inspired after i saw the trailer for a very stylish movie as it seems Equilibrium

it almost seems deep to me
like there's some deeper meaning in it
on the outside it's a cool looking gun but on the inside it's something else
it's a weapon that could destroy
destructive beauty
showing something that kills and hurts and destroys in almost a glorifying manner, making it look beautiful and almost harmless
there's something in that but i can't quite put my finger on it

Love the shot but.....isn't that gun a BB-gun? If not it's just a bad mock-up or an incredibly cheap real gun. Either way it's a great picture. :}

Great photography. Good concept, everything is just great. But I do have some pointers. No way would a trained marksman hold a pistol that loosely (non-firing position) yet still keep his finger on the trigger. He might get a little jumpy and accidentally shoot himself in the foot. Now that, would suck 
Either way, great B&W shot, I think the absence of color heightens the impact of the image. Kinda reminds me of Quentin Tarantino films, but that's just me. Don't know why exactly.

"thoughts like bullets"... The title in itself is already special, but the image is definitely a Then there's the BW contrast, the crop and the negative space so white that it burns your eyes and scorches your brain leaving you empty.

pictures like this make me want to buy a gun for the sole purpose of photography my feelings towards guns and cigarettes are similar....it would be much easier to hate them if they weren't so damn sexy.

great contrast, nice cropping. I really love this photo and was gonna buy the print till i saw the full view.
For one, I wish you used a real gun for this shot. (personally I love the DE .50)
Secondly, you clearly don't shoot (which is ok) because your not holding it properly. Your holding it too loosely, your finger ought not be on the trigger. Also, rotate it slightly and it'll look sexier.
Just some friendly advice, this really is a good photo man.

Brutal... i love it. The extreme contrast and lack of detail on the body of the man emphasises the gun that much more. I like the pose too, better than aming it around everywhere. Makes me want to do some shoots with my fake gun Great work, keep it up!
