This image has been taken with my VDS 810 field camera to an Ilford Harman 4×5" direct positive paper, then scanned and digitally touched up and un-mirrored. (Direct positive papers give you image with mirrored sides.) Up to now this is one of my best direct positive images—it is very far from good and won't stand without the digital retouch, but this technology is a hell to cope with Let's start that the paper changes its ISO depending on really obscure things, perhaps on UV radiation... Also developing is a high-precision guesswork for me

Elbereth is a magnificent friend, we did a day-long session both with the field camera and with the old-fashioned new fashioned digital Canon in studio and she brought some really bright ideas and cheerfully accepted my ones and turned them into miracles. All my thanks goes to her!
