Description

Tiszaalpár, Hungary, Europe—remnants of the once-was stronghold made of planks and mud has these stairs to pass the main banks. Almost every other details eroded into a small hill now giving place the small church of the village. Some edges are excavated by archaeologists, other edges are inhabited by common swifts and bee-eaters. Below the eastern banks there lay the backwaters of Tisza River with rich bird habitats. All of these are either behind the camera or behind the bank occupying the image.

This picture has been captured during a nature workshop with my friend and mentor Sándor Vadász, manufacturer of large format VDS field cameras.
