Description Errorism is a contemporary art movement in photography (and few other art genres) that purposefully accepts and utilizes technical errors, let them be accidental or deliberately forced. The only restriction: the errors must add to the overall impact. 

This is an attempt to shoot large format portrait with my VDS 810 field camera and Ilford HARMAN direct positive paper. This stock is rather tricky, you never know what is its sensitivity. It goes from ISO 1.5 to almost ISO 10, depending on several things.
We did this shot and got critically underexposed. Later I scanned the paper image, swapped the sides as direct positive paper switches them, and tried to push it to the limits to fill the darkness. The result was amazing giving this eerie look and sense of hidden beauty well beyond the visible…

Actually this is an existing movement in photography even though I did not see (yet) it outside Hungary and some of the neighboring countries—but this may be my lack of awareness. As for Wikipedia, this movement / style has page only in Hungarian even though I know that Slowenian, Czech and Polish photographers do this, too...
