Dear Zsigmond,
I have enjoyed is series with Ms. Larion. She is lovely. This photo caught my eye first thing this morning. I have come back several times during the day just to look.
Your vision is remarkable here. Simple and complex at the same time. Ms Larion looks like the Madonna looking down at Her fate and future. The Mona Lisa smile is pretty.
Originality is good here. It must hard to come with portraits that are eye catching. This stopped me.
Technique is what we have come to expect from you. Beautiful. The choice of the diagonal framing is what stopped me here. This also applies to originality. At first I thought I did not like the way the models head was trimmed at the top right. The more I looked the more I felt the trim helps set off her face and shoulder. My eye is drawn to the face, then across to the shoulder and back up. The lighting highlights are out standing.
All in all a beautiful study.
