Another awesome older pic I came across!

There is so much strong emotion in this picture. I really feel for Dawn, her crying just hits me. The way Bear wraps his wings around her, *sighs* makes me wish I could do that for someone, or that someone would do that for me sometime.

I love the detail on Dawn's scales, it's a really good texture actually- you can see she has scales, but they're not too imposing. Not too many artists can pull that off quite a well as this.

Awww yus, you've finished it! And it's an spectacular artwork! Really beautiful and touching, with Bear protecting Dawn, I love this! Bear's pose using his wings to protect her is awesomely done, his rage expression is great too, expressing perfectly that he won't allow anyone touching her.
Good job with his injuries, that gash in his cheek really got to the other side, judging by the fact that he's spitting blood while yelling. Dawn's crying face is really touching.
BTW I like the background, it looks beautiful.
