“With these new security cameras, we should get good intel on the most crime littered areas.”

Mikey scratched his nose in skepticism. He watched his brother intently. Don sat in his lab chair, typing faster than the speed of light. There had been a high volume of crimes in the area lately, courtesy of the Purple Dragons. Don and Raph had set up cameras around town and the brothers were checking over the footage. Except Mikey. He had his eye on a pretty new game controller, which he conveniently had a picture of in a catalogue he held.

"Are games all you worry about?"

"Of course not," he lied, "but I've been looking forward for the controller to be out for months ."

Mikey made sure to stress that last word. He'd been driving everyone insane since January when the new Silver Sentry controller was announced to release. Now August had arrived and the crimes told Mikey that he'd have to wait, which the orange clad turtle refused to do.

"Wait..." Don stopped typing and the turtles watched his computer screen intensively. It showed two men robbing the game store. Each held a large shelf and stored the inventory into their white, pedophilicly cliche, van.

"Those purple dorks are at it again," Leo tisked. He learned back to analyze Mikey and Raph and he smirked. He remembered that Mikey wanted that new game controller. He also remembered that Raph had been complaining about getting out of the lair.

"Mikey, Raph," he called said turtles to attention, "I think you two can handle these Purple Dragons."

The two agreed and headed out.

When they reached the location of the crime, they caught the two Dragons red handed. They attacked and the turtles easily defeated them. Somehow, more of the gang were alerted and in a matter of minutes, the brothers were separated, each fighting at least ten Purple Dragons each. It was obvious that the Purple dragons didn't like to lose. And their bearings may finally be fulfilled this night.

The turtles didn’t like to lose either but the old turtle luck was running true to form that night. Mikey started to unleash his power with his nunchucks when a deafening sound of thunder shook the night.

Mikey thought he heard Raph yelling in horror and when he turned, he saw the red clad turtle being dragged away by five of the biggest Dragons. He was yelling, kicking, and screaming. He was reaching, like he was desperately trying to get to Mikey. And all Mikey could do was stand and stare. He knew he wanted to help his older brother but his body wouldn't listen. Mikey wanted to run forward and kill those who were attempting to kidnap his brother (A foreign feeling in Mikey’s case). His vision morphed together like colors that refuse to mix. His head was pounding and he could barely hear. All he heard was a constant ringing in his ear and a faint, yet excruciatingly painful, throbbing in his chest. Instinctively, he drew his hand to his chest and when he withdrew it, he saw blood caked over his three fingers. He stared at his brother and his brother's captors disbelievingly. His heart began to palpitate; In panic, worry, fear, distress, and loss of blood.

Raph tried to break free but he couldn't. He was held down, tied up, and thrown into the back of their van. He thrashed violently in vain. His baby brother was deathly hurt. But he couldn't break free. So he broke down. He cried- in pain, hurt guilt, and fraught- and continued to thrash.

He had lost the battle.

He had lost his baby brother.

He had lost....
