Based on "Wallflower is a dryad ". Something I made while I was bored.

There once lived a cat known as "Capper" who liked to climb trees. Today he was climbing on a certain flowering tree whose leaves were rather soft and fluffy enough for him to rest his head on, while he was wandering and hiding from his polka-loving owner Joe.

He was awakened by the cacophonous squawkings of a strange bird-like being: the rare and elusive Serenade Songbird. It was a mouse or equine-like creature that had spent much of its time singing, no matter how rough or annoying it can be.

Capper released his claws and slowly tip-toed towards the creature, but it flew away. As he bent to prepare himself to jump and catch the bird, he heard some groaning behind him.

The "tree" had enough of the frequent torment from his claws, and it appeared to form a humanoid head from some of its shorter branches. Its (or "her") two emerald eyes locked on towards the surprised feline in unbridled rage, and one of its branches appeared to ball its twigs into a fist ...
