Description The original version of "Wallflower becomes into a Christmas tree ".

~~~~
After being humiliated by RD during the holiday party, Wallflower wandered alone in the school halls, avoiding everyone's mockery of her green hair over her past incident of erasing everyone else's memories.
But as she was walking she heard a shrill cry from behind. Wallflower turned back and she beheld to her disbelief what appeared to be one of her victims, Rarity, as an excited angelic humanoid who now had real wings as Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash did with magic.
"Hee hee hee!" the bright-eyed winged lady squealed. "Another chance to prove my fashion sense, wahahaaaa!"
She also glowed against the dim, decorated hallway, in spite of a lack of spotlights or Christmas lights around her: she shined like a star, as she did when she and her friends destroyed the Memory Stone nine months ago.
"Wallflower, darling," the creature cooed. "I am Rarity, the Angel of Fashion, and I have been sent from above to make you become more beautiful. Your decoration outfit is just too crass, so you need a better dress."
The frightened dryad angrily tore off her decorations. "I don't even need those, and I'm alright with my current clothing, thank you very much," she reponded. "How did you get your wings, and where have you been in the last few days? The whole school's looking for you."
"Err ... Twilight made me drink some chemical from Equestria behind the portal. It had the logo of a red minotaur, and then I sprouted blue wings -- to Dash's envy. It really hurts, but my new wings helped me when I decorated the school, until I ended up in the alleged 'Realm of the Celestials', a place that existed only in legend ..."
As Rarity droned away, Wallflower eyed for a chance to escape from that fashionista freak, so she darted to the exit to the left. As she sneaked into the cafeteria, the purple-haired being flashed into existence before her, hovering over the tables.
"Yoo-hoo!" the angel whistled. "Do you think you can run away from me, darling ~ ?" Rarity whipped out a piece of fabric, waving it around as though it were her battle-banner of fabulosity.
"O-of course I can -- !" the tree girl muttered. "I could outpace you!" But as soon as Wallflower ran into the shadows, she could feel the winds caused by Rarity's hasty wings getting stronger as her pursuer got quicker than her light feet.
"Wallflower," Rarity cooed, "I'm considering designing something about trees, and you'd make a good fashion model! Would you mind helping me, darling?"
"No, Rares," Wallflower scowled. "Can't you just get lost?!"
All that the angel wanted was for someone to appreciate her help, and more so in that in spite of all the lovely dresses and suits that she made, only a few people (other than her friends) were grateful for her talents. She was desperate for a willing compliment, a "thank you" or someone interested in assisting her.
"I won't, until you help me," the angel insisted.
"But I have some more important things to do, Rarity -- decorating, cleaning, gardening -- and yet you want me to forget all of these?!" She was shortly bound by Rarity's fabric tied unto her right ankle, causing her to trip and fall. Behind her she heard the flapping of the angel's wings, as she stretched her pearly arms to catch her.
"Don't you know that they're already a part of your schedule, Flowerpot?" Rarity grinned. "I'm going to make you the most beautiful girl in the whole school, whether you like it or not!!!"
Just then, another beaing of shining light appeared right in front of the two, out of which emerged another woman in brilliant robes and flowing green-blue hair.
"Let her go, Rarity," the other angel requested. "She's not feeling alright now."
"But, Juniper, I would like her to be a fashion model, so to keep her from being humiliated."
"Just don't force her and she'll be fine."
The purple-haired angel grabbed a scissors and cut the fabric, allowing Juniper to go free. She knelt on one of the tables in the middle and covered her back with her wings as she wailed into tears.
"Thanks for saving me, Juniper," Wallflower shook her hand, "but what happened to you, that you have become a magical angel thing like Rarity did?"
"I was bored one day, taking selfies of myself, when I stumbled upon some kind of music box that appeared in my room from nowhere. I opened it and listened to its music for a while, but when it stopped, I noticed that my skin started to glow. Shortly afterwards I found myself in outer space just near the planet Jupiter [were the gods crazy?], and my clothes were replaced with these robes and a sword -- I now look and seem like those elusive 'celestials' of ancient Kantorlovian legends."
"Can you be my guardian angel?" the tree girl pleaded. "At least, help me not get hurt by some magical beings like Rarity, please." Rarity, overhearing her comment, tore her velvet hair and sobbed, "I'm actually ha-a-a-armle-e-ess!"
"If I can recall, I am your angel now. But I would like you to do me a favour."
"What is it?"
"Help Rarity."
The tree girl's eyes widened in shock. "What?!" she cried. "I'm supposed to help her for all this while?!" Juniper nodded.
"Why didn't anyone tell me first?"
"They thought that Rarity would return from her disappearance sooner than before, but for all that while she was looking for you in the wrong places -- if there's anything good about you being 'invisible', it is that you were fortunate enough to avoid mishaps."
"Err ... thanks?" Wallflower nervously responded. "Maybe you should look for Sweet Leaf instead, because she's green like me, and she's better at acting and gardening. Her plant decorations are better than my friends' tinsel and baubles."
"Perhaps you did not listen to Sweet Leaf's notice that she was on holiday in the Bray-hamas with her family."
"Oh ... I guess I'm forgetful."
The celestial sat by a table to rest her legs. "Now, Wallflower," she asked, "do you wish not to be forgotten?"
"Uh-huh, but I'm afraid that they'll bully me again."
"That is why Celestia selected you to be Rarity's model, not only to replace Sweet Leaf but also to help you feel better about yourself. She'll make a beautiful dress for you, and you might actually be liked by the school for your outfit!"
"But, I'm scared of crowds. They'll laugh at me again!"
"Just give it a try, will you?"
====
Wallflower nervously approached the angel, as Juniper kept hissing into her floral ears to keep moving if she ever stopped. Finally, when she was just a few steps away from Rarity's kneeling figure, she cleared her throat.
"Rarity," Wallflower bowed her head, "I'm really, really sorry for making you sad. I'll give you a chance to make me a pretty dress to see what you can do." Shortly after, the wide-eyed purple-haired being enveloped the dryad into her arms.
"Darling, darling, darling," Rarity reassured, patting Wallflower's shoulder with one of her wings, "that is okay. Now, can we begin our work?"
In the days to come, Wallflower became the centre of attention. It was not due to mockery as before, but of admiration over her Christmas tree-themed dress being exceptionally splendid, allowing her to win the Winter Fashion Gala. Though Rarity appeared as a mere fashion designer during the show instead of being an angel as she now is, her verdant friend gave her a tearful hug, thankful for helping her earn new friends.
"I'm actually ha-a-a-armle-e-ess!"
I read it as "Haremless".
"holiday in the Bray-hamas with her family."
I do not know what were you referencing but I do like to think about it as "Braeburn Bahamas".
"Winter Fashion Gala"
There are at least a dozen galas in that school. Is it normal for American schools to host dozen events per year? I guess neither of us might know.
It is supposed to be Rarity crying and sobbing, but that sounds like a typical brony's fanfic fantasy (XD). Is it that Rarity would go that far just because she's very lonely?
> "Braeburn Bahamas"
Sugar Leaf must be enjoying that weird cowboy horse theme park by now.
> There are at least a dozen galas in that school. Is it normal for American schools to host dozen events per year?
Yes, especially if they have a lot of money and students to do so.
