I think a lot of you guessed right
The best way to get over a loss is to surround you with friends. I decided to give a new friend a good home and she will help me
I do not see her as as a "replacement" for Herr Hildezart (They look similar but they are SO different, that was clear from the first day
) that would not be fair and it is impossible to replace a "person" even if it is just a hamster. We have this huge cage with all the toys, wheels, houses and stuff. Not to forget a huge ammount of love we have to give so the box is opened and inside is a wonderful and cute little hamster girl (we suppose it is a girl but at this age it is not sure...) She is nameless yet but we are searching for a big name for this small lady

I don't know why, but the first name that popped into my head is "Fiezel"
It was the name of someone on a Star Trek show Enterprise. If your familiar with Flox the ship's doctor, his wife's name was Fiezel. She was very pretty, intellegent and curious and shall we say playful.

I know exactly what you mean with getting another friend, I was the same when my gerbil, Symbol, died. It just makes you more sad to see an empty cage and to have nothing to pick up and cuddle

Das darf ich gar nicht meiner Schwester zeigen, die wird sich auch irgendwann wieder eine kleine Hausgenossin holen, die soll dann "Bounty" heißen
würde zu eurer neuen kleinen Untermieterin ja auch passen. Ein Hamster kann nie einen anderen "ersetzten"... sie sind so völlig unterschiedlich, aber es wäre schade, wenn so ein schönes Plätzchen wie bei euch leer und unbewohnt bleiben würde. Bei mir hat damals nachdem meine Goldhamsterdame "Penny" gestorben war mein neuer Hamsterboy "Neo" auch Penny nicht ersetzt, aber ich hatte mich daran gewöhnt, einen kleinen Mitbewohner zu haben. Und als Neo ging (der vom Charakter her auch völlig anders als Penny war) hab ich mich dann für Degus entschieden und einen großen Käfig gebaut.
... für diese Süße würde auch "Daisy" wunderbar passen
oder "Suggar" oder oder oder....
...oder es läuft wie bei dem einen Hamster meiner Schwester: Da wurde aus "Lucy" dann ein "Lutz" ....

Such a little cutie... They never are a replacement, but they do wiggle their little way into our hearts quickly enough... And they all have their own personalities... Best of health to her and a long life full of love...
