Pueppi is a little mutant because she is a little dwarf. Her sister is normal and way bigger than her. Its a strange situation because on the one hand it is cute to see and on the other its sad for the cat because she will never have a normal cat-live. She can not jump with her short legs and no one knows how she will develop. But she has a strong will and everyone cares for her so she will get the best treatment for her handicap

Oh my goodness..She is gorgeous <3 Do you mind telling me where this cat aid organisation is? I would really like to adopt her, but I'm pretty sure the cat aid organisation is in a different country so to me it will only be a dream of adopting her.

Sorry, this is an old picture and the cat found a new home, but the bad message is that this little kitty die ;-( The disfiguration was to strong....

Awww, ich würde sie sofort nehmen.... aber mein hektor akzeptiert gar keine anderen katzen. Er selbst ist ein Findelkind und mir zugelaufen und hat aufrgund alter unbehandelter Frakturen ein verkrüppeltes Beinchen.... also auch ein ganz besonderer Kater, wie diese kleine Dame hier.

Ja, sie ist echt niedlich.
Ich bin mir aber sicher, das hier keine Munchkin mit "rumgepfuscht" hat. Zwergwuchs ist eine spontane Mutation, die bei schlechter Haltung/Umfeld sogar häufiger vorkommt. In Deutschland gibt es meines Wissens nach keine freilaufenden Munchkins und die währen auf der Straße nicht überlebensfähig....
Die Zucht von Munchkins finde ich grauenhaft. Die Tiere können nicht springen, sich nicht putzen, haben Probleme mit der Katzentoilette. Bekommen Probleme mit den Gelenken etc. Und das alles nur, um niedlich zu sein.... Püppi hat schon ein langes und intensives Training, Bandagen & Co. hinter sich, damit sie überhaupt auf den Pfoten läuft und nicht auf den Gelenken läuft und ihr Hinterteil hinterherzieht.....

i have the same problem with one of my cats. and he watches the other cats jump all over the house and he tries to copy them, but he is just too little.
it is really sad, but i can't help but find it to be the cutest thing in the world.
