The streets of Tokyo were crowded that rainy day as I struggled to run down the sidewalk with my umbrella. I was headed  to the TV store on my way home from school to check out the forecast. I tried as heard as I could to keep my ears from getting wet. Being a girl with Cat ears isn't as fun as you'd think, because well, sometimes when you have Cat ears and a Tail like I do, you sometimes take on the characteristics of the animal of the ears and tail you have. In other words, I hate rain. 

I'm known as Yakubouto Murukai, or Neko-Chan by my friends at school. I'm 17 years old, but I look ten. The school I go to is called Kaichoto High school. It's an all girls' high school that is in the middle of Tokyo along with one other all girls' school The On'nanoko high. 

As I got to the store and started to watch the forecast, I noticed that someone was with me. I looked to my left and saw a young woman around age 18.
