I hate her because she wasn't a character, but a prize. Devoid of personality or charm. Going by her looks alone. Which, (not meaning to sound harsh) aren't even that great.

You know, it's nice to consider them as buddies, almost like what Emily Wong was (still sad she didn't make it to ME3, even more so WHY she didn't). A romanced Allers was handled...poorly...in terms of writing (almost as porn-worthy as Jacob's from ME2..."THE PRIIIIIZE" ... lol)!
As for this piece, it's a cute image, though I liked the Jack one more simply b/c of the outfits (also Jack happens to be my fave romance).
The filter you used to make it look like a sketch adds some uniqueness to the piece, although I prefer your style from "Everyone Loves Shepard," which had more crisp and vibrant colors. Alternately, I feel the more faded aspect of this composition might be better served with a darker background (navy-blue or maroon) for contrast (either to draw out the blue lines in their clothes, or the red in the rifle). Another method that might make this pop is a gradient (brighter in the middle near the subjects, darker as you move towards the edges of the piece). You sort of have a "halo effect" around them currently, but it isn't as pronounced as what I'm suggesting.
Still, that's just my two cents, I applaud your hard work nonetheless, and always look forward to more pieces from you!

It's official - after months and years of perusing all manner of ME fanart, I have finally seen a pairing (not necessarily romantic) between Diana Allers & Shepard. By contrast, I have yet to see a Jacob & Shepard pairing as fan art.

Ah, well you have given me a good idea for what my next piece should be. However I do not know if I can make it a romantic scene as I just feel it would be better seeing Shepard having an argument or a kind of bromance with Jacob.

Considering that when someone cloned Shepard the shuttle pilot had to grab an AR and blast away with the best the galaxy has to offer to survive, Allers being trained in rifle usage is practically a requirement if she wants to be with Shepard
That, and the fact that all sorts of strange shit happens to the Normandy crew

Thanks When I did a piece before with Allers, a few people were very clear of their hatred towards her. The thing is though this pairing is not done too often and I like to do a piece that is not done regularly.
