"Gah!" Velgas whinnied in alarm, rearing up as two warrahs burst out of their hiding place, yipping and snapping at his ankles.

They didn't seem to be hunting him - they were too small to take him on, but by the shit eating grins on their faces, they seemed to simply be toying with him. But they would soon learn that the stallion was not playing any games. Annoyed, Velgas drew his hind legs back, and shot out a good kick to the beast behind him. It managed to dodge out of the way before his hooves hit its ribs, but by the yelp it let out, Velgas figured he'd landed a solid hit onto its snout.

Sure enough, when Velgas turned around, the warrah was bleeding from the nose - its snout definitely broken. The other warrah, shocked that their foolish game had turned life threatening, rushed to the side of its companion and dragged it away by the scruff. Velgas huffed, his nostrils flared with anger as he watched the beasts disappear into the foliage.

"That'll teach you." He said gruffly.
