Oh, look. It's the first Official Dr. Ryan art of 2011 , and with his son-in-law Alexi Jiang (Ryan's son-in-law and the OC of ~screamin-jazzy ) nonetheless. I drew this out of boredom during math (Yes, Bad Hotaru is bad) and finished it during Drawing Class when I should have been trying to do a contour drawing. So there was no reference (since Jazz suggested I try not using photo reference for a change), although I did seem to subconsciously channel Tiny Operation by ~aalbaich . I wonder what happened to him. He was an awesome artist.
Anyway, this piece was rather frustrating to work on since the pen pressure kept somehow going out on my tablet every other time I started up the computer (partially to blame because my kitten seems to like unplugging my tablet from my PC), and updating the drivers didn't even help (it seems to make it worse since not even restarting the PC could fix the problem). So, I had to uninstall the new drivers and reinstall the old ones *singers crossed* , now it seems to be okay. Now if only I can get Havik to leave Dante alone.
But anyway, Dr. Ryan and Alexi try to dissect a corpse together, because a family that flays together, stays together...or maybe Ryan is trying to give Alexi a few pointers. I mean Dr. Ryan DOES have more experience in dissecting corpses and all in comparison to Alexi...or DOES HE?!
Errors and annoying pen pressure aside, I'm fucking proud of this!

Actually, I just can't see Ryan in a live action feature (I'd say Gary Busey, but Mr. Busey is a bit old for the part since Dr. Ryan hasn't aged since he was around 30). Now for animation, singer Marco Hietala would actually be the voice of Dr. Ryan.

this is cute and grotty very well done, faces are intresting, Alexi looks way gaunt, unfortunate about his mad beefy abs that sort of start in the wrong place O.o;
thats the only thing I would pick on, the hands are pretty good here and allthough Alexi is holding those whatsits wierd...its Alexi and he does hold things wierd.

lolz. He is holding thos forceps a bit oddly (but of course its Alexi, and is he left-handed? I just noticed he is in this picture, and I do hold scissors and forceps like that. And then BEO winds up suffocating in the bubble wrap, Alexi walks home to find BEO's dead body wrapped in said bubble wrap with Beluxi popping it and then Alexi leaves his in-laws a note that says "Husband dead, details later" before going to work unwrapping said husband and trying to get Beluxi to stop popping.
Oh god, then Beluxi scoffs and just goes into her room and goes to sleep. Well, it's one way to keep her from dating, Alexi.
