So, *screamin-jazzy commissioned me waaay back in the day and, with this piece, I've finally finished the last of her commissions. I must say that I'm pretty damned happy with the end results if I do say so myself.
Jazz originally asked for her would-be pathologist Alexi Jiang and my Singing Surgeon Dr. Ryan in mankinis at the beach, but the RP progressed and Alexi started dating and eventually married Ryan's son/clone BEO. Needless to say, I thought the mankini picture would be awkward, so after much thought as well as asking jazz for permission to do a different piece, I began to think on something different.
I got inspired after finding a scan of a movie poster from the film "Re-Animator" and worked from there, and now here's Alexi Jiang doing his best Herbert West impression while getting ahead in life...so to speak.
Dr. Ryan couldn't be happier about that.
The font I used is called "Re-Animator (Demo)". Sadly its a pay font, but its just so pretty. Once day I actually plan to buy this font and others...one day...
Also, before anyone asks, I don't draw my own characters for money unless you're a close friend of mine.

hmmm maybe after I draw some slightly more detailed pics it will make more sense, I need to draw Alexi's hands, I can never convey quite how unusual they are.
well no, he's too big for a start ^.^;
and about the RP, I didn't say Anatole had a beard, I meant he couldn't even grow stubble, he has the soft blond fuzz of a 12 year old boy attempting a moustace, it's almost invisible, I mentioned it as I was trying to illistrate that his face allthough boney is unnaturally youthfull, like he never hit puberty despite his big grownup body.
