~rerewolflover *looks over Hotaru's shoulder before Drawing I Class starts* "She looks like a cross between SailorMoon and Street Fighter! Awesome!"
And this is how me and ~rerewolflover became the bestest of friends!
This was done about 75% tablet (named Holly) and 25% mouse, because its easier to use the mouse while chatting online with friends (since there's not enough room on my desk for Holly to lay flat so I have to hold her up like a clip board).
Anyway, this little lady is more me playing with the Gaia Dream Avatar Simulator then anything else. I was just playing around and l wound up liking this design so much that I decided to draw her. I didn't have a character with a Ying-Yang motif yet, so why not.
She has no real back story and I'm not even sure if she's going to be a NeverRealms characters. I call her PinYin...and I don't care if its romanized Chinese, because personally I just think it sounds cute. Besides, it's most likely and alias anyway (Note to self: think of a real name for her).
Maybe she's a Neo-Child who, as a little girl, was abandoned by her parents at a temple after her powers manifested...or something. Hell, I don't even know what her powers are yet. Nebulae were added because I wasn't sure what kind of background to use and I like space scapes...and BLUE!
Her worst enemy is probably Dichotomy...my OC (formerly a SailorMoon fan character) rather than the concept. Oh the irony!
Enjoy!

Well, you could use some nice references, like *SenshiStock which is what I used here. When it comes to art, I prefer realistically proportioned women, since I myself and proportioned realistically.

Tones is fine, but model type is rarely realistic and really, wouldn't recommend looking at men's magazines or lingerie catalogs for reference.

*laughs* Thats what I usually go for..I mean, I usually draw angels. An the story behind that is the goddess who made them was really VAIN! (Based off my BFs story) so most angels are very beautiful. (According to the storyline! Nooo bashing!!)
Also I likes drawing models and stuff, but I also like seeing realism

lolz. As long as its not like my Former RP partner's crap story and the Angels were beyond gorgeous and yet could easily pass as human on Earth even thought they were impossibly beautiful. e.e;

Precisely. Who wants to draw something made of SlimFast and silicone?
