Yep. Of course I put this up after OC character competitions, but the competitions are what made me want to revisit this poor old hag to begin with. I'm pretty sure that the images I submitted were at least 8 or so months old.

For those of you that don't know, Ultema has been my first and oldest OC ( ten ... or even eleven long years ). She's gone through a lot of changes that I should document one day because it would be funny. At any rate, I've been in a sci-fi mood lately and decided to update her "Zephyr" incarnation with a couple new things here and there.

I guess I'll include her bio from the Zephyr storyline to commemorate this occasion?

Age:48 (essentially the same as being 30 for us )
Height: 5'9"
Weight 147 lbs (not including false arm)
Race: Maidenite (human) "Cyborg"
Occupation: Omega-Class Sorcerer / Instructor at Zephyr Academy

Ultema Illianer Talsiar. Mother of two, married to Arem Talsiar of the (in)famous Hunter's Guild, Omega-class Sorceress and Head Instructor of Magical Studies at the Zephyr Academy on the WorldShip Maiden Prime. Only one Omega-class Sorcerer or Sorceress is allowed on a Worldship at any time, given the fact that their abilities are so destructive and typically unstable, that any more would cause destruction to the ship. While an Instructor at the Zephyr Academy, she also holds a position in the Maiden Prime's Intelligence Agency, with a finger on the pulse of almost every aspect of what is going on inside and outside of the Maiden Prime.

The function of an Omega-class Sorcerer or Sorceress is multi-tiered. Not only is it for offense as well as defense, but should for any reason Worldship technology fall into the wrong hands, or its inhabitants threatened by a force that could potentially infect and wipe out the populous with a chance of spreading, they are responsible to cause the WorldShip's immediate destruction.

Due to the unstable nature of the energies that are attracted and used by her, Ultema is unable to perform extended, and more impressive feats of magical display without the usage of Channeling and Grounding devices. Through gems, cuffs, visors and wristlets, specially formulated (by "lonely, horny scientists" as her husband might say) she is able to contain the lesser of these energies for educational purposes. It takes a larger apparatus to prevent complete destruction in a combat situation, called a FAU (Force Auxiliary Unit), which contains more concentrated versions of the Grounding and Channeling devices and restrains limbs as well. An additional unit that accompanies the FAU is a large photon-scythe, known as Ballacetine.

Laid back and level-headed, she offers a counterpoint to her husband's more brash and reckless personality. Despite the amount of responsibility on her shoulders, not only socially and politically, but also with her innate destructive energies, Ultema is generally upbeat and optimistic, but never hesitant to put her foot down with her teenage children. At first she had qualms with the revealing "Battle bikini" as she refers to it, but got over it pretty fast, though it has earned her a reputation among her students as the WorldShip's most famous "MILF", much to the embarassment of her children and husband.

... Depicted above is in fact her battle bikini, FAU Arm replacement and Ballacetine. The little swirly thinger next to her is the Zephyr Academy logo. Yes. It IS three dolphins around a ring that says "into the future" because you can't read it from this distance
