i always had a curiosity as to how seasons changed.. i thought a lot about it.. and then realized.. they must truly love each other to sacrifice themselves to give place to the other. this destructive iterative love. so i made a series of four stages of my two favorite seasons.. Winter and Spring .. sigh..

this is a series of four artworks, each for a particular stage of love. (this is the first) ..

One day Winter took a quiet stroll down her orchard. She always did. Especially this time of the year. But something was different about this day and she could feel it in the air. She walked along her favorite route in the orchard, winding in-between trees.
After a while she chanced upon a rose petal lying on the snowy ground.. such was its exotic color and feel that she had to find the flower from where this petal came. and so she began her search..rubbing the rose petal between her fingers she searched high and low..till she chanced upon the thicket of bushes beside lake on the outskirts of her orchard.. unable to hold herself back any longer she parted through the dense growth of the bushes and went through.. what she saw there she'd never forget..

just beside the lake she saw : a mirror, a pink haze, a ripple of flowers..
from within the mirror, peered back a face as confused and as curious as hers..
she was the most perfect creature. She looked like Winter.. but only opposite..
Winter walked upto the mirror.. and gazed into eyes as green as emeralds..

Simultaneously they lifted their hands and gently touched the mirror..and the magic began... ♥
