I used a gradient mask to get rid of the magenta cast of using 2 cokin GND's. Other than that, Some levels and saturation.

What is it about this shot Andy? I don't like it so much but something told me that DA was gonna love this....Nothing of mine has ever had even 250 fav's within 24 hours. This is gonna get 500. I knew you would like this due to soft processing,simple composition etc... But I don't like this that much?

Oooh, I hate defining why I like a shot, because for me great photos speak to us emotionally and it's hard to define what it is I like about them.
I love the feel of the sky here, those lines are great and make it feel really dynamic, as well as the colours which look great and you've wisely not processed at all.
I love the foreground, the green of the grass contrasts nicely with the sky and it feels almost unexpected. You can almost feel the soft coolness of the grass, and the wind blowing as you took it. Those things aren't anything to do with technical elements, it's just that this image communicates them effortlessly...and I like that

Good idea about the magenta cast. I used a photoshop grad on the one of mine you just favourited, to lighten the top of the hill. It never occured to me to use that to correct the colour cast. It's a useful tip, because I'm probably going to start using two Cokin grads soon.
