Description
My first sunset shoot at the ocean in about a month.Absolute bliss, just standing there, all alone on the cliffs of Kogelbay, the sound of storm swell pounding against the rocks, the thunder from the mountain peaks behind me, and the odd few drops of rain on the back of my neck....all topped off by a promising little image on my cam's LCD.
This was taken about 2km from [link] , shooting in the opposite direction. The lights of Strand and Gordon's Bay are slightly visible on the Horizon...

You're damn right about those Cokin filters! I've resorted to making a green grad filter in PS to cover up the tracks...

that horizon seems forever away!!!
and i like the contrast between the harsh rocks and the smooth sea - like the spots of green in there too!!!

Very beautiful, I love the warmer colors that have a small moment to themselves way in the back of the image, and how it's surrounded entirely by cooler colors, which makes it stand out all the more.

Nicely done!
Personally I prefer the colour cast I get from the cokin ND grads at times, sometimes it's annoying. I'm upgrading to Hitech ND grads which shouldn't have any colour casts, and it's not much more expensive.
