The sense of movement in these clouds is simply stunning!
I could stare at them all day long even though it's only a picture. I love it! Good shot.

Could you give me some advice? How is that done? I see it's a long exposure, but the contrast you've achieved is killing me!!! Have you used grad filters as usually? And why are these dark areas in both sky corners, I mean are they photoshop-made or filters, or else...? The lens, is it 16-35mm again?
I've always been impressed by such images.

not a long exposure. The dark corners is from contrast added in photoshop...levels, dodging and burning

it's a pity that the grass is over exposed. Otherwise, a great premise and perspective.

Great comp here and great DOF. The sky is awesome and you did well to capture it. I do feel that your fg is to bright here. Well done on this

Thanks Stephen. I considered a 5x4 crop, because then the tree ends up on a 3rd, but stays in the position with relation to the cloud that I like.
I worked my ass of this morning, running from comp to comp, shooting, running shooting. Only when I downloaded did I realise that this quick snap between two comps would be my favorite. I wish I had gotten more of it....

i often think there is probably nothing funnier than a landscape photographer ...'in the zone' dashing about like a lunatic....
as said mate i love it, the tonal range is perfect...what did you do for conversion...?

Nothing fancy...raped the contrast and converted to bw, did some effort to retain highlight and shadow detail with another layer, but all in all it was a very lazy conversion!
