Description
Hey guys, sorry i haven't been posting much lately. I started my second term at Art Center a little while ago, and have been piled with homework ever since. Here is a quick study I did about a month ago. Once again studied from Roberto Ferri's work. You can see his amazing oil paintings and pencil drawings here: robertoferri.net
Hope you like it! Thanks for looking.
Don't forget to join me on facebook! I show a lot of sketches and WIPs on there (i definitely post more art on facebook than I do here on dA), and talk about a bunch of nerdy stuff: [link]
thanks again!

Fascinating painting. Interesting combination of power and yet its "decaying" somehow.

Why must you painters always put me to shame.
Don't take that as a critique. Haha...it's just my talents have yet to extend to painting or graphics the way they take to charcoal and graphite, and it makes me feel so...plain compared to works such as this. :3 Very amazing work!! This is something I would have framed in my living room (of course I'm an oddity that way, I'm sure 'normal' folk would prefer flowers or...a portrait of some kind, heehee).

Woah. For a 'quick study' like that I would need a whole lifetime I like how the right arm merges with the materia from the head.

This is really giving me ideas to do. There is just something about the human figure melting like wax that is really attracting me. Could it be my love for the House of Wax or something much more disturbing. >__> <__< O__o
