Description
Hey guys, sorry i haven't been posting much lately. I started my second term at Art Center a little while ago, and have been piled with homework ever since. Here is a quick study I did about a month ago. Once again studied from Roberto Ferri's work. You can see his amazing oil paintings and pencil drawings here: robertoferri.net
Hope you like it! Thanks for looking.
Don't forget to join me on facebook! I show a lot of sketches and WIPs on there (i definitely post more art on facebook than I do here on dA), and talk about a bunch of nerdy stuff: [link]
thanks again!

This is delightful! especially as you did a digital version. I wonder if the same effect can be achieved using physical oils.
His art is AMAZING.

This is amazing, and I love the classic painting feel to it. Such emotion in this piece.

this piece is actually quite haunting, i've been staring at it for quite a while now and i can't help thinking it beautiful, the whole melting idea just adds to its haunting beauty, the unfinished hands add this distorted feeling to the character himself, but maybe that's just me^^
all in all this is an enchanting piece^^

Looks like he's melting back to his own dimension of Greek Gods. He's sure chiseled like one! Very nice for me to... study...
