Description
What was meant to be a quick photo study sketch turned into this. Really enjoyed playing with the warm shadows within the cool light source.The photo I used for reference was one of Priestess-Shizuka's modeling photos, photographed by Marcin Wuu. Check them both out, they're awesome!

I can't believe how spot on accurate this is to the original, the angle of the cheeks, the length of the neck...everything is perfect. Did you just do this from eye? or did you use a grid or something?

No grid, just done by eye. Β But that doesn't mean i neglect to measure the crap out of the image to ensure its accuracy.

wath brushes did you use Β on the face Β ? ill been looking for something like that , im starting digital painting , and the type of the brush i cnt find it ,can u help out of it , i shall use the basics brushes or is something in special ?? :c ur work its very awsome Β hope someday be like u .

I love his photography, and seeing this prompted me to wonder if it is legal to draw copyright photos for personal use (I would like to use some of his work myself for practice). Are you allowed to use such photographs as long as you aren't making money off it?Β

As long as you don't make any money from it, and as long as you credit the photographer and model whenever and wherever you post it. Β Also, do not claim it as your own work. Β
If it's for studying purposes and credit is given where it is due, then you're fine!
