I understand how you feel. Sometimes the undesirable grainy feel gets a bit too annoying for one's tastes. In other cases it comes handy, but not if you want great minuscule detail. :\
Your pictures always have a pastel feel to it, do you always edit them to get that or does it sometimes come in the original picture?
