Description

How Parks Employee Classification #2 - "pets"

These rubber-clad employees have greater autonomy and independence than standard drones, nicknamed "pets" by both senior staff and guests alike. Able to be more expressive, move freely, and solve problems independently, they are still imprinted with an innate, instinctual desire of obedience to their park, as well as heightened senses of pleasure and contentment for following orders and performing their assigned roles. Thus, they are wholly loyal to the company and higher-level staff.

Unlike drones, which are primarily foxes, pets can be any variety of animals, though mammilian-based species such as dogs are favored as a "default" model outside of themed areas. Quadrupedal pets also exist in certain roles, such as mounts or modes of transportation.

Transformations into a pet can either be temporary or permanent, and can be done through special goo or by "suiting": either by wearing a specially constructed transformative suit or wearing a typical suit-tier employee too long. However, wearing the suit longer than a few days can come with a range of side effects, such as the increasing desire to remain within the suit. These can be muted only through admin-approved psychotherapy and medication.

Here, Sylveon and Lily star as the newest otter and aquadog pets joining our crew at Soaky Tails, proudly showing off their forms! Sylveon is wielding a lifeguard imprint, while Lily has the more standard uniform for soaky tails employees.

Uniforms, or imprints, are painted onto a pet upon designation of its role within the parks, and there can be as widely varied as the pets themselves! Once applied, they become a permanent, paint-like coat upon the rubber skin that cannot be removed. However, pets can receive uniform "changes" by getting new paint jobs when necessary.

Beyond the imprint, however, veteran and senior pets may be allowed to have non-rubber accessories of their own; either to fit in with a certain theme or as a token of their seniority - or in the case of Lily and Sylveon here, to help highlight this rule!

Pet hosts can join willingly, or be recruited through more "legally grey" methods - such as punishment for breaking park rules (as Sylveon was more than happy to demonstrate).

The park is always hiring - so become a pet today!

My first How parks ref sheet complete, featuring Lily and Sylveon as our lucky new employees!
