piggy, that doesn't matter : o
you didn't directly copy it and, even if you got inspiration from it, it's still your own, it's not exactly the same.
And anyway, nothing is 100% original, like someone else has thought of a cream sorta coloured wolf with short blue hair. 

I don't think it matters if your art looks similar to others, as long as you didn't straight up copy it without permission and post it without credit to the original. 

Anyway, i think Medic didn't mean it in a bad way, it probably just surprised them.
