I love Sean Astin! He's a great actor. I've seen him in few roles but I like him nevertheless.

Astin plays great characters. Last year, he was in a fantasy TV movie based off part of a book series I really like. He played a tourist.

Yes. Unlike Sam, Astin's aforementioned character Twoflower is naive, optimistic and enthusiastic. Unfortunately, he's also a bit gullible, as well.
The TV movie is an adaptation of a Terry Pratchett book. There has been a year-old debate (or sevral, in threads) about the casting, but that can't possibly harm you. I always go by the acronym WYGIWYGAINGW*. It's a bit long, as well, but very exciting.

This is brilliant, I love the detail and attention here. You've really captured the expression of Samwise, and done it beautifully. I like the crosshatch technique, too, it adds an extra sense of depth to this portrait.
