Finally made a good ref for my monochrome baboo! If y'all want to draw or fuse with her, here's the place to go to look for stuff about her. Her legs may seem small but that's a combination of short legs and a hella big sweater. I'll draw her more later.

If anyone wants to trace over this digitally and add a not shitty background for it then I would love them forever *wink wonk*

Name: Dragon Vein Agate / "Vein"

Alignment: Herself
Owner: Carnelian (Former)

Personal Motivations: She's just trying to make it through one day at a time. She wants to enjoy herself and make friends and also not fall into the endless chasm of self-loathing and doubt that seems to be pulling at her. You know, normal stuff.

Fusion Partners: Howlite and Snowflake Obsidian
     Reason for Fusing: She's actually a forced fusion! Howl and Snow were both regarded as traitors to a degree, so as a punishment they were torn apart and put back together in a hellish Frankenstein-monster-like fashion. Nowadays, however, they're both so weak on their own because of their near-shattered condition, that they stay together for survival. And being hella gay but not admitting it.

Gem Location: Right above her left boob

Rank: Nomad? That's kinda what she does at this point

Appearance: She's a smol white gem with a big ol' short-sleeved sweater, striped leggings that might be from Hot Topic, and white boots around knee-length. Her arms and chest ane also covered with ink veining that constantly changes
  Height: 5'4.5"
Weapon: She gots a crowbar.
          Fun Fact: I got this idea because of the Joker, so her fighting style with it is a lot like his: erratic swinging and bludgeoning, all while making well-timed puns and sarcastic jokes and usually cracking herself up.

Synchronizing Style/Fusion Dance: Vein normally swing-dances to fuse, often beginning with independent moves and later switching to dancing with her partner. In some cases, however, such as with Kyanite, Vein and her partner may have a unique dance for a specific fusion, like belly-dancing.

Personality: She's rather childish gem, and often makes jokes and cracks sarcastic comments and one-liners during even the most heated situations, as she has no sense of how social situations work. She always tries very hard at a lot of things, but due to her foolish nature and lack of maturity, she often fails and humiliates herself. Beneath this, however, she's a rather insecure gem, who views herself as useless, not good enough at anything, selfish and not as powerful as she should be. Due to her inability to handle herself, she can never be by herself and needs to be in constant contact with someone she's close with. She constantly pursues validation from others, as she finds that it's the only way to feel better about who she is, but in turn ends up feeling worse for placing the burden of herself on others.

Brief History/Backstory: After Howlite and Snow were found guilty of treason, they were shattered and sent down to be experimented on by fusion scientists. Unlike most of these monstrosities, however, a specific gem, Carnelian, insisted that she should be made into a fusion resembling a single gem, so her mass of shards was filed down into one gem. While she was initially supposed to join an elite faction of soldiers, she was deemed too uncontrollable and far too unstable for her purpose, as Snow and Howl couldn't stand each other to the point were both were trying to shatter each other from inside of Vein. Their fusion, fueled by the hatred of her parts, became violent, aggressive and sad, and took out her emotions on whatever gem came upon her by trying to shatter them, and often succeeded. After accidentally destroying the area she was imprisoned in, Vein fled Homeworld and now wanders the universe, doing whatever, whenever. Since her escape, Snow and Howl have developed a deep dependence on each other, and have fallen into deep affection with each other. They'll never admit that to anyone, though. Not even themselves.

Other:
She has a second mouth on her tummy whom has a separate sentience from Vein.
This second mouth takes immense pleasure in watching Vein suffer and humiliating her, often saying embarrassing things at the worst possible moment. So Vein kind of has almost no friends because of this.
Snow and Howl both deeply resent Homeworld for their fate, and while they are too weak to actively pursue vengeance, Vein's sworn to find a way to retaliate.
