Ike sat on his bed, paralyzed from the embarrassment, ashamedness, and dread of being caught wearing women’s undergarments. It was a typical Wednesday, which consisted of him lounging around in some female undergarments he’d purchased through the year. While watching TV, the front door opened to have his mother entering to find Ike panty-clad in her living room. Before she could muster a word, he ran to his room and locked the door, as the shouting followed him upstairs.
“No child of mine will be dressed like that!” his mother berated him, Ike’s face stop-light red and still paralyzed from fear. “I raised you better.”
“But…” Ike stammered out, trying to grasp a rebuttal.
“No butts, unless it’s you in a pair of women’s pants.” his mother cut him off. “Come with me, and I’ll give you some of my clothes to temporarily wear as we go shopping.”
The embarrassment cemented in, quickened by his mother’s firmness with her decision. Dragging the paralyzed Ike to her room, he was given a shirt and a skirt to wear as they went shopping. Ike still couldn’t figure out if this were a win or a loss for him, but it was indeed an embarrassment.
